PlayerUnknown's Mobile Battlegrounds game is a persistent online game, so you're going to need an internet connection to play-whether by mobile network or Wi-Fi-but the better the ping.
Android's tech specs are 5.1 or higher and at least 2 GB RAM. We played on a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and had no problems with it.
The iPhone version requires iOS 9.0 and later, so it supports a full range of iPhone models back to iPhone 5s, iPads back to iPad Mini 2, and iPod touch 6-gen.
The game in the UK is PEGI 16; Fortnite in the UK is PEGI 12.

In the Mobile edition, what makes PUBG a pretty good-looking PC game is more or less lacking. The effects of lighting and particles that really sell the look of the game were all very stripped out, and probably for good reason. For hardware, these kinds of elements can be quite challenging. The effect is a leisure that looks pretty bland. The terrain, the characters and the weapons all look more or less the same as the PC version.
Conclusion
For PUBG Mobile, you don't have to be as competitive to go far. Part of this is due to the introduction of early-level bots, which helps you to get used to the controls of the game without being completely exposed to its normally very punishing difficulty. Even then, the game's imprecise controls make for a looser, less tense experience. I think that's a shame.
What really makes PUBG great on PC is the tension of having to methodically make it to the middle of the map as you alternate between cat and mouse, never knowing where the next enemy will pop up. It's a very different kind of shooter experience than most games, and a lot of that is missing in PUBG Mobile.
